Beatiful owl alebirije wood carving by top Oaxacan artists Nestor Melchor & Leticia Fabian. Expertly carved out of a single piece of copal wood by Nestor and painted with very fine detail by Leticia incorporating ancient Zapotec patterns which have a very high significance in Oaxaca culture. Notice the amount of detail which extends to the insides of the wings. An excellent work of Mexican folk art which would make a great addition to any art collection. This piece is signed and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
