Such a vibrant and unique piece by some of our favorite artists who have a large following throughout the world. Expertly carved out of copal wood and decorated throughout with ancient Zapotec patterns. These patterns can be found throughout the Zapotec ruins in the region and have a great significance in Oaxacan culture. They depict the elements of nature and human life with representations for respect, power, happiness and many more.
