Exceptional turtle alebrije wood carving by the Roque family in Oaxaca. This wonderful work of art was carved out of copal wood which is sustainably sourced in the surrounding fields of the town of San Martin Tilcajete. The carving is so well done with perfect proportions of a real turtle. An exceptional addition to any art collection.
