Gorgeous Huichol beaded jaguar wood carving from the Sierra madre mountains of Jalisco. Thousands of beads were individually placed over a layer of natural adhesive (bees wax mixed with pine resin) to create this work of art. The body and tail were sculpted out of solid wood and beads were attached with the use of bees wax. A beautiful addition to any art collection.
