Incredible one-piece owl in flight wood carving by the very talented Fabian family. Expertly carved out of a single piece of copal wood in a way that gives the owl the appearance of flying sideways with the curved wing allowing for it to sit upright on a flat surface such as a table. Every square inch of this masterpiece was painted with the finest of detail which incorporates the ancient Zapotec patterns which have a great importance on Oaxacan culture and arts. An exceptional work of Mexican folk art!
