Masterpiece dog alebrije wood carving by the Fabian family. This exceptional large piece was carved out of copal wood which was sourced in the fields surrounding the family workshop. The Zapotec patterns delicately painted throughout the piece were inspired by those found on the ancient Zapotec ruins that are found throughout Oaxaca and have a large presence in Oaxacan art.
