Fierce jaguar one-piece wood carving by the Vidales family in Oaxaca, Mexico. Expertly carved out of copal wood which is a sustainably sourced wood. Copal branches are used for carvings in order to preserve the life of the tree and ensure a plentiful source of wood for generations to come. The painting incorporates patterns inspired by the ancient Zapotec culture of Oaxaca.
