Beautiful Huichol beaded howling coyote made by the talented artists of the indigenous Mexican people who inhabit the Sierra Madre region of Mexico (also known as the Wixaritari). Their art depicts their respect for nature with images of corn stocks, peyote plants and the sun. Their bead and yarn art allows them to make a living and continue to inhabit their native lands. Thousands of beads were individually placed over a layer of natural adhesive (bees wax mixed with pine resin) to create this vibrant work of art. The body and tail were sculpted out of wood and beads were attached with the use of bees wax. A great splash of color and design for your room.
