Fantastic one-piece monkey alebrije wood carving by the Roque family in Oaxaca. Carved out of copal wood which is sustainably sourced in the surrounding fields of the town of San Martin Tilcajete. The carving was very well done and precise. The expressiveness of the monkeys face adds a lot of charm to this beautiful piece.
