Beautiful one-piece owl alebrije wood carving by the Morales family workshop. Expertly carved out of a single piece of copal wood and painted with very fine detail incorporating ancient Zapotec patterns which have a very important significance in Oaxacan culture. Notice the amount of detail which extends to the ends of the wings. An excellent work of Mexican folk art which would make a great addition to any art collection.
