Wonderful one-piece carving by the talented Oaxacan artists Susano Morales & his wife Tibida. This piece was carved out of copal wood by Susano with traditional tools such as machetes and small knives for the more intricate details. The detailed painting was done by Tibida with great choice of colors and design which really brings this rabbit to life and gives it a cute and whimsical personality. A great work of Mexican folk art!
