Beautiful tall cat handcrafted out of copal wood by the Sosa family in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Sosa family creates some of the most breath-taking pieces and this is definitely one of them. The carving is always so well proportioned with featured carved with precise detail. The painting is very finely done with desins inspired by ancient Zapotec motifs which are found in the ruins throughout Oaxaca.
