Fantastic bighorn ram alebrije entirely hand carved out of copal wood by Jose Calvo & Magaly Fuentes. This piece was decorated with acrylic paint with the traditional design and pointillism of the region which is highly inspired by the ancient Zapotec culture and the ruins found throughout the region. One of the most exquisite samples of Oaxacan artisans' expertise in carving animals (tonas), nahuales and alebrijes.
