Very creative piece by the Sosa family workshop. This nahual fusion combines the head and tail of a coyote with that of an armadillo. Both of these animals were revered and respected by the Ancient Zapotecs and continue to be admired by Oaxacans and are incorporated in the art of alebrije wood carvings.
