Beautiful antelope alebrije wood carving by the Sosa at their family workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico. Expertly carved out of a single piece of copal wood and given a majestic form and posture. This piece was decorated with the traditional Zapotec design which is highly inspired by the ancient Zapotec culture and the ruins found throughout the region. An exquisite example of Oaxacan wood carving folk art.
