Very creative piece by top Oaxacan Artist Eleazar Morales. Eleazar is known for his excellent carvings of wildlife and his attention to detail and color. With this unusual piece Eleazar decided to combine 3 creatures: an armadillo, turtle and a rattlesnake for the tail. A very interesting piece of Mexican folk art by a great artist!
