Wonderful Zapotec donkey wood carving by top Oaxacan artist Ivan Fuentes. This cheerful donkey has a great demeanor and a welcoming expression that will brightne up any room. We love the coloring and intricate detail that Ivan incorporated into this piece which was carved out of a single piece of copal wood with love and passion for the art that he learned from his well known late father Epifanio who was one of the original wood carvers in Oaxaca several decades ago.
