Masterpiece howling coyote alebrije wood carving made in Oaxaca, Mexico. This beautiful work of art was handcrafted out of local copal wood. Copal wood is sustainably sourced in the fields surrounding the small towns of San Martin Tilcajete & Arrazola and is the wood of choice for wood carvers in Oaxaca. Many months went into creating this exceptional piece. From curing, carving, sanding & painting the wood. An alebrije can take up to 15 months to complete depending on the size and complexity of the piece.
