Beautiful large fish by the husband and wife duo Jose Calvo & Magaly Fuentes. Magaly is the younger daughter of famed artist and one the original wood carvers in Oaxaca Epifanio Fuentes. Their pieces are some of the most sought after for their bright colors and exceptional detail. This piece was carved out of a single large piece of copal wood by master carver Jose and painted with very fine Zapotec patterns by Magaly. An exceptional piece made by a very talented team of artists.
