Exceptional monkey with fruit by the Roque family at their workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Monkey was carved out of a single piece of copal wood with no detachable parts. Very great form with a curious expression on his face. The fruit is removable and can be placed on the side or in its hands. A great piece of Mexican folk art for any collection!
