Beautiful Zapotec dog alebrije wood carving handcrafted by award winning husband & wife duo Roxana & Jesus Hernandez at their Oaxaca workshop. One of their larger carvings with their signature style of painting. Jesus carved the dog out of copal wood while Roxana and their children completed the sanding and painting of the carving. A beautiful piece that took 5 months to complete and would be a great addition to any art collection.
