These works of art are the product of traditional Wixárika celebrations where the shaman artists receive inspiration from nature and the cosmos to create these vivid representations of their visions. This is possible by placing over 30,000 glass beads one by one over a layer of a natural adhesive made from natural materials such as pine resin and beeswax.
