José & Magaly are a talented husband-and-wife team from San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca, a town celebrated for its extraordinary tradition of alebrije wood carving. José carefully hand-carves each sculpture from copal wood, while Magaly brings every piece to life with intricate patterns and remarkably precise hand-painted details.
